These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mailartifact.com website and your purchase and use of MailArtifact Email Investigator and related digital products offered by Digivetus ("we", "us").
Product
MailArtifact Email Investigator is offline desktop software for email forensics and eDiscovery. You are responsible for lawful acquisition and handling of evidence and for complying with applicable laws, court orders, and organizational policies in your jurisdiction.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use our products or website to:
- Violate any law or third-party rights.
- Intercept communications or access data without proper authorization.
- Distribute malware, spam, or infringing materials.
- Reverse engineer or circumvent license controls except where permitted by law.
Our software is intended for legitimate digital forensics, legal, compliance, and security investigations — not for unauthorized surveillance or harassment.
Licenses
Unless stated otherwise at checkout, licenses are perpetual for the purchased edition, limited to the number of users or seats described on the product page. You may not resell or sublicense license keys except with our written permission.
Payments
Online purchases are processed by Creem, which acts as merchant of record. Taxes, invoicing, and payment disputes on checkout are handled according to Creem's terms and your local consumer rules. Prices are shown in USD on our Pricing page before you pay.
Delivery
After successful payment, you will receive instructions to download the software and activate your license (typically by email). Delivery is electronic only.

Disclaimer
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION OR THAT RESULTS WILL MEET EVERY LEGAL OR DISCOVERY REQUIREMENT IN ALL JURISDICTIONS. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VALIDATING WORK PRODUCT.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIGIVETUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR WEBSITE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO A PURCHASE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT PRODUCT IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
